The standard NZ courier label: 100 x 150 mm

Every major New Zealand courier network prints to a 100 x 150 mm (4" x 6") label. It is direct thermal, so there is no ribbon — the print head darkens the facestock itself. You will also see the same label sold as 101 x 149 mm or 102 x 150 mm; those are rounding differences, not different products, and they load in the same printers.

What actually varies between suppliers is the adhesive and the liner. We stock a permanent acrylic adhesive that holds on satchels, cartons, shrink wrap and cold cartons out of a chiller, on a liner cut to run cleanly through desktop peelers without jamming.

One thing worth checking: print at 100% scale with page fitting turned off. Scaling a 4" x 6" PDF to A4 shrinks the barcode and is the single most common cause of a label that will not scan at the depot.

What size courier label does NZ use?

100 x 150 mm (often written 4" x 6") is the standard courier label size in New Zealand and is accepted by NZ Post / CourierPost, Aramex, NZ Couriers, Post Haste and Castle Parcels. 101 x 149 mm and 102 x 150 mm rolls are the same label with rounding differences and work in the same printers.

Do courier labels need a ribbon?

No. Courier labels are direct thermal — the heat from the print head darkens the label itself, so there is no ribbon to buy or load. That is why dispatch teams use them: load the roll and print. The trade-off is that direct thermal fades with heat and sunlight, which does not matter for a label that is scanned within days.

Will your courier labels work in my Zebra or TSC printer?

Yes. Our 100 x 150 mm courier rolls are supplied on 25 mm (1") cores for Zebra ZD220/ZD230/ZD420, TSC TDP-225 and TTP-244 Pro, and Toshiba TEC desktop printers, and on 76 mm (3") cores for industrial models.
